The halogen-free RZ1-K (AS) cable with a 3x1,5 mm² cross-section ensures a safe installation: its main strengths are its fire resistance and its excellent ability not to propagate flame. Its use is mandatory in new buildings and public-assembly premises, where low smoke and corrosive-gas emission is essential in the event of fire.
It is made of a flexible class-5 polished copper conductor to UNE EN 60228, with cross-linked polyethylene XLPE (UNE 21123-4) insulation. Its operating voltage is 600/1000 V (test voltage 3500 V) and its operating temperature range runs from -15 à +90 ºC. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is sold in 100-metre rolls and is commonly installed in conduits, on surfaces or recessed.
